Volunteer Services

Members of the Evanston Regional Hospital Volunteer program as well as our Auxiliary program, the We Care Volunteers, play an important and impressive role in the care and services provided by the hospital. Our regular Volunteer program runs the gift shop, assists patients on Med/Surg with a library of books and periodicals, runs the volunteer desk, and assists managers with tasks.

The We Care Volunteer program has been in existence for over ten years and has provided a wonderful resource to the hospital and to the community. With their own by-laws as a Volunteer Auxiliary, the We Care Volunteers raises money to hand out teddy bears to small children who come through as patients in the hospital, as well as for scholarships, and equipment and supplies for the hospital. To find out about fun, challenging, and rewarding volunteer opportunities, call Christy Etheridge at 307-783-8137.
